• Reminder that there is no practice tomorrow, due to the last day of school and the pool party from 3-5pm. Good luck to the belly-floppers and cannonballers contestants tomorrow!

• Congratulations to our seniors who graduated today! We look forward to Abigail, JP, and Riley’s final RFD swim season this year.

• Meet sheet for Saturday meet will be sent Thursday evening.
• Thank you for making Sign-up Saturday successful. Almost all families declared swimmers on-time that allowed us to focus on preparing the week ahead and meet sheet. If there are changes to your plans, let us know so we can adjust the meet sheet.
• We want to clarify the timeline for home meets and especially the timeline and duties for Marshal. First, we cannot start warmup without a Marshal. There is no training requirement for Marshal--think of Marshal as a safety-patrol on deck to prevent people from walking in areas we don’t want them. Further, Marshals help with safety; remind swimmers to enter the pool feet first. We also encourage sharing the Marshal duty with another person if you have to leave early or arrive late! Let us know if you make this arrangement so we know who is on deck.
• Marshals need to be at the pool at 7:45am, NOT 7:00am. I need to fix the volunteer times in SwimTopia (sorry!). Report time for swimmers is 7:50am. We ask for the extra five minutes to ensure no one enters the pool before warmup; remember safety!
• If you are an early riser, come down and either help by being a Marshal or help setup the pool!

Timeline for A-meets at RFD with 9am start time:

• Prior to 7:45 - Pool & meet set up
• 7:45 - Marshals arrive & meet with Referee
• 7:50 - Swimmers arrive
• 8:00 - RFD Warm up
• 8:15 - Judges’ brief with Referee under Pavilion
• 8:20 - RFD Warm Up ends
• 8:25 - FME Warm Up
• 8:30 - Timers’ brief under Pavilion
• 8:45 - FME Warm Up ends
• (No Little Rat swims)
• 8:50 - Swimmers for 1st three events to clerk of course
• 8:55 - National Anthem
• 9:00 - First Event (8&Under Free)
