Team,

Our first practice for both Water Rats and Little Rats will be Tuesday, May 27th! Please review the website for your practice times for while school is still in session! Practice Schedule - Rutherford Water Rats

• Parents please be advised that the Pavilion is rented on Wednesday, May 28th. Please remind your swimmers to put their belongings elsewhere and please avoid sitting under the pavilion on that day.

All swimmers:

We will be monitoring the weather and water temperatures. Please prepare your swimmers for both dryland and water time.

Swimmers should bring the following:

• 2 towels (one for dryland to sit on and one to dry off)
• Goggles
• Cap (caps help the body retain heat and can help when swimming in cooler water temps)
• Bottle of Water

Little Rats:

1. Please meet your coaches on the deck in front of the guard office.
2. Being comfortable in the water and away from parents is the first step and goal. We ask that parents please do not sit along the 2ft during practice.
3. Please approach Stu or Rebecca with any questions or concerns during practice rather than the coaches.
4. Please bring the advised equipment stated above. We will be closely monitoring temperatures and comfortability for this group.

Reminders:

1. Updates and notifications will be sent through REMIND app and email. Please download and join! The instructions to join REMIND are in the registration confirmation email.
2. Bring a case of water (x24) to drop at the snack shack.

4. Swim and Dive board outside of Men’s room will be prepped for this season this week. The website will always have the most up to date and informative materials.

Officials

• There is a new NVSL rule change for false starts. Please consider attending a clinic to clarify the rule change, even for those that do not need to recertify this year.
• If you are interested in shadowing a role this summer please attend a training and let us know you would like opportunities to shadow!

Swimmer & Diver National Anthem tryouts--let us know if you want to sing or play the national anthem before a meet!
