Hello RFD families!  It's finally time to get back in the pool!  Tomorrow swim practice starts for our Water Rats (Little Rats - you have a bit more time for the pool to warm up, as your practices don't start until June 19).  A few reminders as you prepare to join us:

• All swimmers need to swim with their age groups (13-18 yrs @ 3:30-4:30; 8yrs & under @ 4:30 - 5:15; 9-12 yrs @ 5:15 - 6:15).  If you still have other commitments, don't worry - we will see you soon!
• Parents must remain off the deck - let the coaches, well, coach!  The pavilion or grassy area are the happening places anyways.
• The coaches and I will be evaluating the "I'm not sure if I'm in the right group" swimmers to decide between Water and Little Rats.  We will alert you of any roster changes asap.
• Please sign up for Remind text alerts by texting @rfd2023 to 81010.  This is how we quickly announce any weather related cancellations / postponements.
• Time Trials is on June 10 - and you can sign up NOW!  This is how we get times to seed the meets, so all swimmers are free to swim all strokes in which they are legal.  Please remember to RSVP for the meet AND choose your events (this is the only meet where you are able to choose events).  And while there, sign up to work one of the deck positions (this is a GREAT learning curve meet, so I expect to see many smiling faces on deck).

Gretchen and I will be on deck to answer any and all questions.  You can't miss us - we will be the stressed out ones.
